We provide professional mobile DJ's, Discos, PA Systems and Lighting to hire for Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, Parties and other similar functions in and around the Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, York, Harrogate, Oldham, Rochdale area.  If you are located somewhere on the map below we should be able to cater for your needs.  If your venue is not on this map it does not mean that we wont be in a position to discuss things further, we would endeavour to assist wherever humanly possibly though additional costs will be involved.

Weddings

We understand just how important it is to want the most magical day of your life to be as memorable and perfect as possible.

We recognise that every wedding is not the same and is truly unique, because of this, we want everything to be right, from the very first dance right through to the end song of the night.  Simply let us know your music requirements and we will make sure they are fully catered for, hence why we always ask our clients for a preferred play-list before the event so that we can better guarantee to have absolutely everything available that you may want to hear on your big day.

Using a combination of theatre and disco lighting, we will create a fantastic atmosphere.  Venue permitting of course, we also include a haze machine which will greatly enhance the lights capabilities and thus provide that special environment that everyone will be talking about for days and of course remembered for years to come.

Even if your wedding is to be held outside in a marquee, you will be more than happy with the sound systems we have available.  We are also comfortable with setting up the equipment at any time during the day.

With a large event, we simply need to know where the venue is and approximately how many guests will be attending so that we can calculate what equipment will be required before actually pricing up?  To offer a guidance, a very small event will cost £150.00 upwards, dependant upon certain factors like the time-scale involved and travelling distance etc.  A large event, say an indoor and outdoor wedding reception in something like a marquee type environment would cost circa £400.00 to £500.00.

Should you require a wedding singer as well as the DJ, we can provide this service too as we work closely with a group of talented singers who do weddings and events with us and also on their own.

From booking to performance, you'll only have to deal with one person, though please understand the actual DJ may not be the person who has worked with you to arrange the event.  The actual DJ (or) DJ's will be introduced at some stage prior to the actual event taking place. 

We are happy to liaise with the venue to arrange the setting up times and any other requirements that you have and we are also happy to meet with you in person to discuss your song choices and requests etc. 

We have over 80,000 songs on various media formats like CD's, MP3's, Karaoke and Vinyl. 

If you are worried that we might not have your favourite song, please feel free to check with us and if for some reason we do not have a copy we will make sure we have a copy for your event.

We have Public Liability Insurance so you can be safe in knowing that we have covered each and every eventuality!

All of our mobile disco equipment is fully PAT tested and certified accordingly.

Remixing - £60.00 per track

 Do you want your track remixed by Wreakinsteve?  Maybe you are so close to a big tune, however seem to have hit a brick wall and cannot quite finish it off? 

A standard remix following receipt of your Wav samples etc on a CD or by Dropbox will cost £60 including mastering, the rights to the production work will become yours.

Mastering - £40.00 per track

You will receive 2 versions of the final master so as to offer you a differing sound/style to choose between.  We also offer a stem mastering service (Mixdown) at £80.00 where we will check the EQ and levels of up to 20 audio lines and then master the lot.

DJ'ing/Mixing Lessons - £20.00 per hour

First lesson is 2 hours for the price of 1! 

Learn to mix the DJBeat way!  Over the last 20 years I have taught many people how to mix-it-up on the wheels of steel, this includes many girls who to be totally honest, picked it up way faster than most of the guys did.  

There's a trick to learning quickly and I know what it is!  Want me to share it with you?  10 lessons and you will be mixing like a pro, well, either that or you are actually tone deaf and/or have no rhythm whatsoever!  

I can show you on MP3's, CD's or Vinyl, though Vinyl is the best way to learn and also the most fun. 

You can choose your house if you do own, or mine if you don't own any decks, or I can show you with an MP3 PC suite which is very portable. 

Most people come to my home studio to learn, we are able to crank up the volume nice and loud and the room is full of mixing and production equipment anyway, so its the most sensible way to conduct these lessons really.   

I offer a range of courses, from beginner to advanced.  One-to-one mixing courses that are constructed around your own abilities in a productive, friendly and easy to understand way, I will include as many items/techniques as your own individual abilities will allow. 

The courses are one-to-one ensuring complete attention and expert guidance from the tutorial.

I only use the very best industry standard equipment from manufacturers like Technics, Denon, Pioneer, Sure, Roland and so on. 

The choice of music I have available is vast, from House to Trance, from Techno to Oldskool, from Hard House to Happy Hardcore, there will certainly be many tunes you will know and recognise.

I can also do home visits, please phone to discuss.  Lessons will otherwise take place in my home studio in Bradford.

Any services carried out at your own residence must to be conducted within a 30 mile radius of Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK and payment must be made upfront.

Music Production Lessons - £20.00 per hour

I produce nowadays using FL Studio or Ableton Live, however I have used CuBase and Reason in the past and I am also familiar with other DAW's (Digital Audio Workstations).

Let me know what stage you are at, which programs you are using/want to use and I will advise where, if anywhere, I may be able to assist you? 

Most people with a basic understanding can get to grips with using the DAW and producing a finished song (from a standing start), within about 5 to 10 lessons. 

Studio Time - From £15.00 per hour

Home studio available for hire.  Studio hire can be very costly indeed and is not always affordable to everyone, therefore why not keep you money outlay to an absolute minimum and lay down your vocals or record your instruments in a small budget home studio?

This studio is perfectly suitable for singers or single instrument players, like keyboard, violin or guitar etc. 

Royalty Free (DJBeat) backing tracks can be created/supplied at an additional cost which will be discussed and agreed prior to us starting recording.  Alternatively, you can supply your own backing track or we can play a metronome sound at your chosen tempo to help you synchronise your timing. 

The vocals can be compressed, effected with reverb, delay and echos etc.  Effects can be added prior to laying down the recording or can be added afterwards to obtain the desired sound, this is simply your choice. 

Items like headphones, keyboards and microphones etc are all available to use, though it is best to discuss your own individual requirements prior to, or when booking a slot. 

You can bring a PC USB dongal to copy the stems to, or we can simply zip and email them to you, upload them to the web on a secure download link, drop-box them to you, or copy them onto a DVD or CD image and post them. 

To provide a sample of the studios capabilities, we can confirm that all but a couple of the DJBeat tracks featured on this website were created in this studio.  We can also confirm that many of the vocal stems were also created here as well. 

The studio can be booked during the day from 10:00am until 4:00pm at £15.00 per hour or on weekends and evenings for £20.00 per hour.  Evening slots can be booked between 4:00pm and 9:00pm and slots are available on Saturday's and Sunday's from 11:00am until 6:00pm.
